According to the official site, this national monument will be open to the public from 20 February 2006, Mondays to Fridays, 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays, 9:00am to 1:30pm. Admission to the gallery is free for the first year and there’s a $1 admission fee for unlimited viewing of documentaries screening for the day at the AV theatre. Watch out for our field report.

The news about Ford Factory brought back some memories for me of the time I spent a few weeks there as an Spore U undergrad back in 1974 or 75. It was part of my plant attachment and was a requirement for the engineering degree programme. Thank you for this announcement. The Straits Times article today focussed mainly on the minister's speech and made no mention about the visiting times. I will drop in next week for a visit and if I can did up enough data from my old grey-matter hard disk upstairs I will write a blog article.
