Kashgar, one of the most important cities along the Silk Road was and still is famous for its Sunday bazaars everywhere in the city. The bazaar is a vibrant place for people to meet and trade. With that, ACM presents to you a Sunday filled with shopping, auctions, authentic food and tea, demonstrations and many more interesting activities. One of the highlights will be an on the spot fashion competition, where some of Singapore’s brightest young student designers will have just hours to go from raw material to finished haute couture. Come on down to ACM and experience this exciting day with us, as we re-create this worldfamous Sunday bazaars of Kashgar, the last outfitting station on the centuries-old Silk Road.
