I Can Relate to This!

Artefact:

An artefact analysis. The artifact is a dagger from the Aurangzeb period, (c. late 17th century) in India.

The artifact is a dagger from the Aurangzeb period, (c. late 17th century) in India. The use of jade in the handle may suggest that they believed that the material was valuable but realised that practicality was more important. Also, the jade might suggest willingness to spend on arms. Also, the people were probably fine craftsmen and metalworkers. The people also probably liked curves, and were graceful. It is possible that this was meant as a side-arm for someone not meant to see combat, but still required to lead troops, as the period was marked by war. Perhaps the people were aggresive.
