A Singaporean Monopoly

Monopoly can be quite a fun game to play, and for me, I wanted a Singaporean version of the board game.

I have seen both the Uniquely Singapore version or the Singapore version, but I find both of them rather dull, more like a coat of new paint over the same concept.

So I did my modification and came out with my own board with Parker Brothers’ Monopoly concept as well as my own. I made my own Chance Cards and Community Chest Cards as well with local icons like Durians of Geylang to the Dim Sum Dollies and even National Service.

With the whole thing set up, it was quite an enjoyable experience to work and play with. The ERP, CPF and GST are quite an headache, a few lucky ones got quite a bit from Singapore Pools or the Progressive Package. One must not step into those live firing areas too or you will go to jail.
