Working with six local artists—Ang Soo Koon, Charles Lim, Choy Ka Fai, Jason Lim, Ming Wong and Zulkiflie Mahmod, At Home Abroad features artworks that were previously commissioned for international platforms. Through the locally developed artistic displays, visitors can better appreciate issues governing the staging of artworks internationally. These include the importance of site-specificity, sensitivities of artists to ethnic and national identities, as well as the cultural richness of local audiences.
