2008 marked a milestone in the Singapore Art Museum’s history with the single largest donation of artworks—113 exquisite paintings valued at $66 million—ever made to a Singapore museum by internationally renowned Chinese artist, Wu Guanzhong. Co-organised by the Singapore Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum and National Art Museum of China, the Wu Guangzhong Donation Exhibition will showcase over 60 donated artworks by the artist.
From the 1937 Sino-Japanese War to the Cultural Revolution of 1966, Wu Guanzhong’s encounters with Singapore since the late 1980s to the man he is today, the Wu Guangzhong Donation Exhibition offers rare insights into the artist’s life spanning more than six decades.

my family visited SAM on 270811, nice presentation of wall mural with solar movement, any mechenisium data? I also like Wu Guang Zhong's presentation...
