If you’re old enough to watch St Jack, the only Hollywood movie ever to be fully shot in Singapore, you’ll come across many scenes like these: shots of the city from the 1970s, where bumboats still inhabited the Singapore river, or, as Victor notices, road sweepers using brooms made from coconut leaves.
Using Icemoon’s idea of precision heritage photography, Victor takes a 2nd shot of the above scene and compares today’s Singapore with what was taken over 30 years ago - this is what he saw.

Try looking at it from 110 Amoy Street. Thats where the scene of Jack walking down the street was shot from. 110 was also the unit where Gopi first encountered Jack. This is how it looks like today. http://superfinefeline.blogspot.com/2008/04/new-taiwan-porridge-amoy-street.html
