While fears of the H1N1 virus still dominate the news, it has not deterred people from visiting museums.
On May 1 (Labour Day) by noon, more than 100 visited the National Museum, just two hours after its doors were opened.
And all took the health screening checks in their stride.
The National Museum - like all museums and heritage institutions under the National Heritage Board has since Thursday evening, taken action to implement screening procedures in accordance with advice from the Health Ministry.

Checking for a fever
Access has been restricted to just two entrances in each museum. Visitors have to under a temperature check to ensure they are not running a fever. They will also have to complete a questionnaire. This is to facilitate contact tracing should this become necessary in future.
A television crew from Channel 8 was there on Friday morning to film our museum staff in action doing their part to keep the virus in check.
