I am proud to be a Singaporean because…Singapore is a safe and peaceful country

I am proud to be a Singaporean because Singapore is a safe and peaceful country. Singapore does not have disasters like earthquake, tsunami, typhoon and hurricane. Singapore is a strong and powerful country, It has strong military power and have the best plane and helicopter. Singapore is not like other countries which do not have schools and school and teaches to teach them. But in Singapore, we have schools and teaches to teach us. although studying in Singapore is tough, but it is quite good because the teachers who teach me is nice. I have a family who loves me and cares about me and they also work very hard for me.

Singapore is a prosperous country which have alot of shopping centres like Vivo City, Suntec City, bugis junction and others shopping centres. Singapore has four main races, it is the Chinese, Eurasian, Indians and Malays, I have friends from these races and I know their culture.

Singapore has a total defence day where the people in Singapore remembers the day where the Japanese attacked Singapore. The five defences is the civil, military, economic, social, psychological defence. Singapore has overcome alot of situation such as SARS and other things. The recently one is the H1N1. I believe Singapore can overcome these situation because Singapore is a strong country.
