Why am I proud to be a Singaporean?

1. I am born in Singapore

2. I speak English, Chinese, and SINGLISH

3. I love to eat chicken rice, chilli crabs, nasi lemak and roti prata

4.Singapore very clean

5. Singapore government not corrupted

6. Singaporeans very friendly

7.Teachers give me lots of homework, want to make me do better

8. Everyday study, study, study

9.Singapore is a non racist country, there is Racial Harmony day

10. I leave tissues on hawker centre tables. Chope!

11. I cut the queue when queuing for food

12. I very kiasu

13. I very kiasi

14. I only want money

15. I hate nerds who mug for exams

16. I love to watch Phua Chu Kang

17. I know about Singapore since Sang Nila Utama landed on Singapore to the future when Singapore will become an ageing population

18. I shop shop shop

19. I love to exercise by pushing the people on the bus for more space

20. No natural disasters

21. I love Aunty Lucy

22. Oi, c ah, I speak lyk tt 1 hor. Ya lah I know my English veri poor lah, but hor, my singlish full mark leh. lol.

We may just be a small dot on the world map, but our brains are big. All these IMPERFECTIONS make Singapore PERFECT and that’s why I proud to be a SINGAPOEREAN.

We, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society, based on justice and equality so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation.
