A while back I mentioned that Adrian Lim was one of the few criminals in Singapore to gain a lasting infamy because of the horrific nature of his crimes. Adrian Lim, a self-styled medium who preyed on vulnerable women by performing sex rituals on them was being accused of rape; in order to throw off the criminal investigation, he and two acccomplices conducted a ritual sacrifice of two children both as a way to distract the police and also to appeal to supernatural aid. The killings were brutal, and it was only due to the sharp skills of the police that enabled them to find traces of a blood trail back to Lim’s Toa Payoh apartment.

Uncle Dicko shows off his collection of news clippings about the Adrian Lim murders, including the trial, execution and the eventual fate of the Toa Payoh apartment. It was quite chilling to read that Adrian Lim did not show any remorse for his actions, and that he was playing to the gallery during the trial:
The majority of those who turned up for the Adrian Lim trial were members of the public who came in large numbers. There were long queues for the limited seats in the public gallery of the court. People started queueing hours before the court convened each day…and still more came.
One reason for this other than the mere curiosity factor was the chief accused himself…Adrian Lim. As the trial proceeded, he was “enjoying” playing to the gallery more and more. Unafraid to describe in gruesome details the debauchery and the slaughter, he kept the courtroom engrossed and captivated with the very lively descriptions and answers to questions that were put to him.
The Adrian Lim cult killings are described in detail in the Singapore Infopedia and wikipedia, and Uncle Dicko displays the news clippings of the execution and trial on his blog. As an epilogue, the fate of the apartment is also revealed.
