The Chinese theatre groups have played a significant role in shaping the development of performing arts in Singapore. This exhibition aims to highlight their contributions using a fascinating display of items such as periodicals, programmes, photographs and posters dating back to the 1950s. The collection showcases original materials that have never been published or are out-of-print.

我国华语话剧曾经蓬勃一时，在表演艺术的领域里有过不朽的贡献。本展览主要通过精彩的剧照、特刊、道具等，展示华语话剧的演出风采，并介绍极有影响的重要剧作家对推动剧运发展的成就。本展览也展示歌唱、舞蹈等表演艺术特刊与大家分享。
