Islam in China – Understanding Harmony and Tolerance through Chinese Art showcases a modest display of exhibits. The exhibition wishes to portray the importance and relevance of objects from China and hope to transcend boundaries and promote harmony through the calligraphic works on the objects, which has elements of Islamic influences.

One of the stars of the exhibit is a priceless jade (in tablet form) with a Quran calligraphic inscription. Other exhibits include ceramic vases, tea-sets, porcelain plates and miniature vases, all in contemporary style. The exhibits are made with various colours and designs donning calligraphic inscriptions on the enamel surfaces. The gallery display highlights the beauty and aesthetics of the objects as work of contemporary art.
