Does this structure remind you of anything? A monument from the past, perhaps?

The octagonal structure is the remaining and original pillars of Gasholder No. 3, the oldest gasholder of the Kallang Gasworks. Up until the 1990s, you couldn’t miss the giant gas tanks that towered in the Kallang area. In his post, yg visits the Kallang Riverside Park and through the sculpture there revisit the important economic role the gasworks played in the development of Singapore.
