I am proud to be a Singaporean because Singapore is our homeland. This is where we belong. I can make new friends. Singapore is clean and the people are hardworking, friendly, happy and helpful. I can learn different types of languages from different friends like Malay and Tamil friends. Singaporeans also help each other when one needs help. They donate generously to charities and old folks homes. When travelling in Mass Rapid Transit, they often give up their seat to those who need it the most like old folks and pregnant women. Those people are considerate, we must follow their actions. Before we board the train we let the passengers alight first. When we board the train we move to the centre of the train. When we board the bus, we move to the back.

I always go to the hawker centre to eat. I love to eat chicken rice, fried kway tiao. Most Singaporeans live in HDB flat. They own the flats. Singapore is a safe country. One can go out at night and to do shopping or watch movies and return safe. Singapore is also a clean and green country. Lots of plants are planted along the road side. The streets are clean. Singapore is a shopping heaven for tourists. They are many shopping centres in Singapore.

Every male singaporeans have to do National Service to protect our country. We have a strong Armed Forces who are ready to protect Singapore. It also had a good educational system. Every children study hard so that they can contribute to economy when they start their working lives, I am very proud to be a Singaporean. I will study hard and train hard. When I grow up, I will do National Service to protect Singapore and contribute to it economy.
