I am proud to be a Singaporean because…of the peace found on this tiny island. Singapore has come so far from the kampong days. Now our country is very modern, with towering skyscrapers and up-to-date technology.

Our country has a variety of dishes due to the many different traditional cultures which the chefs fuse to create original and unique dishes to call our own. Even when there is so many cultures and races together in one place, we still remain ever so peaceful due to the respect we give to everyone and the belief that everyone is equal.
