I am proud to be a Singaporean because Singapore is a clean and green country and she is very unique, there is no other country in the world like it. Although it is only a small dot on the world map, I love Singapore, this is my home, this is where I belong.

Singapore might be a small country compared to all the others but she has achieved a lot these years. She has grown from a small fishing village to a busy port and now, an important transport and communications hub. I am blessed to be born in this country as there are no typhoons, hurricanes nor earthquakes happening here. Singaporeans care about each other in their own ways, like when they pass by their neighbour’s they would always talk to each other or at least nod or greet them.

I am proud to be a Singaporean because this is a beautiful place to stay in and all the people here are friendly and the government does their very best in everything for our sake. I am proud to be a Singaporean because every race and religonj is treated fairly and with respect. No matter what the colour of our skin is, no matter what religon we believe in, we can do the same things together and there is no criticism and no favouritism based on that. I am proud to be a Singaporean because there are many different kinds of food here and it is often known to others as a food heaven.

Singapore is a wonderful place to live in and I am extremely happy that I was born here. I am proud to be a Singaporean.
