I’m proud to be a Singaporean because of many reasons, I’m proud to be a Singaporean because of the unitedness and faithfulness of the citizens towards serving our nation, I’m proud to be a Singaporean because all races are able to live together in harmony, and the government tries their best to keep riots between the different races to minimum, I’m proud to be a Singaporean as Singapore is a well-developed and safe country, I’m proud to be a Singaporean because Singapore is a place where I can proudly announced it is my home. It is a place where my children and the future generations can grow up safe and be taken care of.

Whenever I am overseas these are the reason I’m proud to show others that I am a Singaporean. I can hold my head up high and announce proudly that I am from Singapore, as it is truly, a caring, harmonious and democratic country. We citizens will come together, just like the national day slogan, to make Singapore a better place for living because this is our homeland. This we where all of us belong.
