Fifty years from now I envision Singapore… Singapore will be the key city not only in South East Asia but in the whole of Asia. 5o years from now, I envision Singapore to have cutting-edge technology which enable us to progress as a nation. With these state-of-the-art technology, we will be able to find a way to produce water from seawater, we would not worry unduly about the scarcity of water in Singapore.

I envision Singapore to be like a global leader like U.S, although we are a small country, Singapore will be able to stand up for other weaker countries in Asia and speak up for them.

As Singapore is a country with little resources, we know how important it is to conserve resources, I envision scientists gathering together in Singapore to research how to conserve the environment, envision Singapore to be a leading nation in developing environment-friendly products.

I envision to be a transport hub in Asia with roads linking to Thailand and other parts of Asia so as to improve trade and economy. I envision Singapore to have developed two more world-class airports. I envision Singapore to have a strong army to defend herself from terrorists and enemies. I envision Singapore to be a corrupt-free country with no racial discrimination so that everyone will live in a peace-loving Singapore.

Singapore will have a culture and history of its own 50 years on. We will be regarded as a individual country recognized by the world with a unique culture which is contributed by the different races living in Singapore. The Singapore i envision will materialise if we work hard together. Let’s come together as one entity.
