A city bustling with life, Singapore is not just home to modern fixtures that line the Central Business District, but eclectic shophouses and intriguing colonial structures. An ardent admirer of Singapore’s heritage and architecture, artist Diana Francis approaches her works in a playful manner, portraying these subjects with a certain effervescence through oil paints.

Come October 2 and 9, join her at the Singapore Art Museum at her workshop – A Singapore Tale or Two – Painting workshops with Diana Francis.

ssf-logo-09-11Held in conjunction with the Singapore Sun Festival, plunge into the Diana’s vibrant and colourful and let your creative juices flow during these fun-filled workshop sessions. Be inspired by Diana’s experiences and travels through Asia, whilst enjoying a glass of premium wine and deluxe canapés.

“I hope to evoke in my paintings an emotional connection with the viewer so that they can relate to this country’s unique history. The roots and the soul of Singapore, for us not to forget this not so distant past”, she says.

At $58 per session, registered members of Yesterday.sg will receive a special discount. Look out for details which will be sent to your registered email account.
