Spirit of Youth, The Flame of Passion, The Star of Champions and The Crescent of Tomorrow makes up the symbolic emblem of the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. We visited the gallery last weekend together with a group of preschool students and it was a fun experience.

The guides were entertaining and knowledgeable, guiding us through the gallery with much passion about the Youth Olympic Games. They did a pretty good job!

And kids being kids, they were also entertaining enough with their responds. Oh yes, kids say the darnedest things.

A screening of the animated cartoon, “The Tortoise and the Hare”, which teaches the kids to never give up when faced with failure.

The kids were in awe upon looking at the first Olympic medal won by a Singaporean, Mr Tan Howe Liang, in weightlifting (lightweight category) in 1960.

They also participated in outdoor activities where they learned about sportsmanship and teamwork.

(Limited to 50 participants per session)
For ages 6 and up
