Join us at our museums this Hari Raya as we offer free admission to all our galleries! Get into the festive cheer and enjoy the plethora of activities spread across our NHB museums this Sunday, 20 September 2009.

Kickstart your long weekend with a walk through our museum galleries. Catch special exhibitions such as A Story of The Image: Old & New Masters of Antwerp at the National Museum of Singapore, Hunters and Collectors: The Origins of the Southeast Asian Collection at the Asian Civilisations Museum, the Singapore Art Exhibition and Light and Movement Portrayed: A tribute to the Art of Anthony Poon at the Singapore Art Museum – free of charge!

In for some retail theraphy? Bazaar Raya at SAM’s carpark offers pre-loved accesories from a variety stalls. Also at SAM, swoon to the tunes by the ACJC alumni choir and make a pizza with the resident chef! The most creative pizza (don’t count on a Hawaiian!) will stand to win a prize. Head down to NMS after where Cultural Medallion recipient, Ong Kim Seng will demonstrate the art of landscape watercolour painting.

Young ones will have their hands full at our museums. Design your very own Hari Raya photoframe at the NMS, take part in art workshops – from painting, sculpting and clay modelling at SAM, and make a pretty Sun Catcher for your window, or pit your toy car against others and race your heart out at the Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM)!
