Thanks to everyone for your feedback about our “It’s A Great Great World” Movie Screening specially put together for our I Love Museums Facebook Fans.
Here’s two of our fans’ takes on the event.
“Through the film, I learnt a great deal about Great World (I have never heard of it prior to watching the movie) and IMO, the all-star cast did an excellent job in this collaborated effort, portraying the ups and downs of the various characters so well, bringing tears to the eyes (from laughing too much and from sadness).”

“A big THANK YOU to the lovely people at Yesterday.sg for all the hard work! Do drop by their Facebook page to show your support.

“Watching this movie at the museum holds a different kind of meaning compared to watching it in the cinema. Museums is a place that exhibits collections of historical importance and to be able to watched this movie which brings us back to the 1950s to see how Great World City used to be when it was called 大世界/Tai Say Kai/Great World is like transporting us back to that era and attending a history class.”
