Come 4 December 2010, IMPRINTS will be embarking on another new journey at the National Museum of Singapore. This time, the Little Thoughts Group will be tagging along in this journey, picking up on ideas from our past and bringing it back with a BANG!
In December 2010, IMPRINTS will be known as IMPRINTS: Designing for Memories….

Following its successful first-of-its kind product design exhibition in Singapore last year, the Little Thoughts Group is geared up once again to showcase the creative talents of local product designers in December 2010 at the National Museum of Singapore.
Imprints: Designing from Memories features a significant collaboration with Yesterday.sg, as the theme will revolve around the exploration of heritage and culture in product design and the notion of “Singapore Design”.

The upcoming exhibition boasts an impressive showcase of 20 local product designers and will also include seminars and talks. Spurred on by encouraging reviews of the last show, this year’s showcase promises to be even more awesome and inspiring, with its ‘blast from the past’ take. Let’s ride back in time and marvel at how those wonderful memories have been creatively renewed into innovative modern-day keepsakes.

We caught up with a few of the designers and managed to extract some early thoughts or sources of inspiration for what they will be cooking up in their idea kitchen. Follow this space to see how their little thoughts develop into something bigger….

I liked the show last year, such broad variety and contrast of ideas. Wondering how they will outdo this time round….
