If you’re old enough to watch St Jack, the only Hollywood movie ever to be fully shot in Singapore, you’ll come across many scenes like these: shots of the city from the 1970s, where bumboats still inhabited the Singapore river, or, as Victor notices, road sweepers using brooms made from coconut leaves.

Dear great-great-great-grandchildren,
Today, I have this urge to write to all of you about my excursions to the Bukit Timah Railway Station and various parts along the KTM railway tracks on 4 Jun 2011. I do not know if you would ever experience these places like I did?

Try looking at it from 110 Amoy Street. Thats where the scene of Jack walking down the street was shot from. 110 was also the unit where Gopi first encountered Jack. This is how it looks like today.
