In celebration of Singapore’s 46th birthday, Preservation of Monuments Board is offering special tours to key monuments that have contributed to Singapore’s rich heritage.

Join an ex-reporter on an in-depth tour of monuments and discover untold stories of our monuments – silent witnesses to the important events and personalities in politics and war of pre-independent Singapore that also helped shaped modern Singapore. Monuments covered: The Arts House, Esplanade Memorials, Former City Hall and Supreme Court (TNAGS)
The tour is conducted by PMB’s adult Volunteer Guide. |

| 2 | Order out of Chaos
Find out about some of the public institutions established by the British authorities to transform “Sin-galore” (a 1920s nickname for Singapore when murder and mayhem ruled the country) into a clean and orderly Singapore and to protect the people in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Monuments covered: Central Fire Station, former Hill Street Police Station and former Ministry of Labour Building The tour is conducted by PMB’s adult Volunteer Guide.
