While much ink has already been spilled on the National Stadium as an ‘old’ architectural icon of Singapore, this reflection of the National Stadium is refreshing because it is written by a JC student. Hayden, who is 16/17, blogs about his memories of the stadium. It’s hard to imagine school kids not having some kind of relationship with the stadium, as they inevitably would have participated in some event involving it one way or another.

Today, I have this urge to write to all of you about my excursions to the Bukit Timah Railway Station and various parts along the KTM railway tracks on 4 Jun 2011. I do not know if you would ever experience these places like I did?
