If a picture is worth a thousand words, then reading a comic book is like reading a full-fledged novel. But do you know how comic books are produced? clickandrender visits the Singapore Philatelic Museum to find out.

The showcase on comics is part of the Singapore Philatelic Museum’s exhibition on Comics and Superheroes, which was put together with the help of FOYer (Friends of Yesterday.sg) Shaun (read about his behind-the-scenes account here). The exhibition highlights the cultural impact of the comic strip and its most distinctive offshoot, the superhero genre comic.

So how are comics made? It’s an 8-part process as clickandrender finds out starting with a written script, which eventually becomes fleshed out as a full-page comic. But you should head down to the museum to find out for yourself!
