Congo River: Arts of Central Africa is finishing its run at the Asian Civilisations Museum this Sunday, so this is the last chance to explore artefacts from mysterious and exotic Africa – and hopefully, after the exhibition find Africa to be a less mysterious and exotic place to be.

Over the past few months, we featured a number of posts about the Congo River: Arts of Central Africa exhibition and you can read them here. Recently, the museum also held an Open House for the Congo River exhibition, which was filled with musical performances. xtemujin has some videos of the performances of his blog here.

Congo River: Arts of Central Africa ends on 10 April at the Asian Civilisations Museum. If you haven’t had a chance to see it, you’ve only got the weekend left to catch it! And if you’ve already caught it, why not take another visit? The exhibits and galleries in the Asian Civilisations Museum are quite large, and you’ll probably see something that you’ve not encountered before.
