My five year old had been bugging me to bring him to see the dinosaurs since the day he received a free ticket from school months back. We went a couple of weeks ago. He was completely awed and captivated. And he wrote about his visit.

After my nap, we went to the science centre to see the dinosaurs. Mummy bought tickets. I got my ticket from school. The ticket was free. I was excited. We saw Sue.
Sue was a T-rex. Sue Hendrickson found the fossil. Sue was huge but I was not scared. Dinosaurs were extinct. Birds were dinosaurs.

I also tried to look for fossil. I used a brush. It was fun.
I enjoyed my self.

Mummy and I made a Dinosaur diorama. We made one last year but this one has two fierce T-rexs.

Your trip to the Science Center sounds very fun and interesting. Are you sure you are only five years old? You seem like you might be five and a half or six! Do you think you might be a scientist or a reporter?

WOW! we did not expect a comment after such a long time. This entry brings back fond memories. Yihang is going to be 10 years old next year. Yes, his ambition is to be a scientist so that he can find a cure to his genetic condition. I believe he will achieve that, as he has just been accepted into a programme for gifted kids (GEP).He’s our pride and joy. How times flies …
