Mention Qin Shi Huang and two thoughts immediately comes to mind:
1) First Emperor to unify all the warring states of China
2) Terracotta Warriors

While the facts of how he unified China are relatively well documented, his obssession with immortality and the afterlife certainly captures the imagination.  As such, the current exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) certainly succeded in giving us a glimpse into the emperor’s inevitable defeat against Death.

In keeping up with the times, ACM has fused art, technology and  hands-on exhibits to entice and engage visitors of all ages.

Visitors will first be greeted with a tongue-in-cheek take on the afterlife by Justin Lee before the exhibition proper. As they  discover not only the process of how the teracotta warriors are created but the culture and its legacy on the Han Dynasty.
