SINGAPORE – WEDNESDAY MARCH 25 2009 ::: The works of Christian Lacroix, the French virtuoso known for defining the look of the 80s, is featured at the National Museum of Singapore from now until June. Christian Lacroix the Costumier showcases 20 years of work for the ballet, theatre and opera such as Carmen and Othello.
storpohotography has some images from last Friday’s opening ceremony. Close to 80 costumes and 60 sketches gathered from the collection of the National Stage Costume Centre in Moulins, France and Lacroix’s personal collection are being displayed for the very first time in Asia.
