The Beauty in Black exhibition at the National Museum of Singapore pays tribute to the Little Black Dress by showcasing fine examples by designers from all over the world.

Here are what some bloggers who have visited the exhibition have had to say about it:
- Qin at the Disco: “It was a really good experience and seeing the clothes so UPCLOSE were perfect. I really loved the Commes Des Garcons wedding dress. Wouldn’t it be great to get married in that?
” [Link] - Jade: “As you tour the exhibition, don’t forget to take some time to look at the illuminated photos on the gallery walls. Those are photos of women in LBDs, including Coco Chanel and modern-day celebrities and models such as Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Schiffer.” [Link]
- glamourpuss: “How many LBD’s are actually in your wardrobe? I dare you to go and count and you will be surprised at how many you actually have. I won’t dare tell you what we have but tragically its over 25 pieces in our boudoir. Let’s hope hubbie does not read this~! But at the end of the day this fashion staple has saved me many times over.” [Link]
Beauty in Black showcases 18 dresses from international and local designers, made between 1950 to 2000. The exhibition is on at the National Museum of Singapore until 13 June and is located in the Balcony on Level 2.
