Most of us like flowers, and judging from the attendance of the Floral Design Workshop, the seniors love flowers too! Last Saturday, I attended a workshop conducted by Master Floral Designer Damien Koh from Fleur Connection and came away with a better idea on how to create a simple floral centerpiece. Fluent in Cantonese, Teochew and Hokkien, Damian was able to connect with his dialet speaking audience right from the start. All the 30 odd participants managed to created beautiful floral designs within an hour. Which shows that floral design is not as difficult as I initially thought!
