Raymond Goh of the Bukit Brown Cemetery blog writes about his search to track down the matriarchs of Peranakan families buried in the grounds. In particular, there was one tomb he was looking out for, that of Chia Gin Tee who died in 1937.
During the search for her tomb, Raymond discovers that Mdm Chia was the matriarch of the Chan family. You can read about his discovery of the tomb here.
