It can be argued that Singapore is one gigantic shopping mall, but I’m sure that we all have our own personal favourite places to shop at. Peter Chan blogs about the different department stores that used to grace the shopping landscape of Singapore, and how it has changed over the last 30 years.
In the 1980s, there were a couple of international department stores that challenged “local boys” like METRO, Robinson’s, Marks & Spencer, John Littles, OG, Emporium and CK Tang.
