Stamps & Such draws our attention to a new set of stamps released by Singapore Post, commemorating some of this island nation’s most venerable culinary institutions: hawker centres.
Are we the only nation in the world that has given our food centres a place of honour on our stamps? When you think about it, stamps say a lot about the (official) culture of the nation, so it’s nice to see that our love-of-food heritage being honoured this way.
