The ReTRIeVIA blog has a new series currently going on: feature pages from the book Horse-powered & Man-powered Transport, a children’s book taking the reader on a philatelic excursion through the kinds of transport used in Singapore’s past.

With effect from 18 Feb 2008, Retrievia will feature pages from the book “Horse-powered & Man-powered Transport – a philatelic excursion”. This book was co-authored by Dr Tan Wee Kiat, Noel Hidalgo Tan and yours truly. It was published in the middle of last year.

Wee Kiat is the oldest eldest of the three. In fact, he is already a grandfather of 5 lovely children. No, it is not that the short grandfather is running short of stories. Neither is it that our book is not selling well. (We never intended it for sale anyway.)

I would say that the book’s really good – but I’m probably biased. =D Check out the book here!
