Saving film

Posted by noelbynature

Today in the days of digital photography, we think nothing of taking hundreds, if not thousands of photographs without thought. It was not too long ago when film for cameras came in 24 or 36 exposures and the cost for developing a roll was about $15. Turn back the clock a century, and we have a double images – where two images are shared on a single exposure of film.

James shares with us pictures from the National Archives by Mr Lee, a photographer who ran a studio in Singapore in the 1900s. Check out the set of double exposures here.
