Trishaws, rickshaws and buses – The first two out of these three forms of public transport don’t exist anymore (although trishaws still feature as a tourist mode of transport), while back in the 1970s there was no such thing as air-conditioning on buses! With the opening of more public train lines, James takes us back to the simpler modes of getting around during the back-then.

James points out that with the changing modes of public transport, some new social skills had to be learned – such as giving up your seats, which would be really weird if it was done on a rickshaw or a trishaw.
The lifestyle, fashion, communication, transportation and the demand of the people have to be adapted and changed in every country to the needs and aspirations of every generation. So who says there are no changes, no remaking in every social skills as the world moves on with the advance in science, technology, education, trade and various business and enterprise. All of conditioned existence, without exception, is in a constant state of flux, as wise sages have taught.
Younger, able-bodied gracious commuters on buses and MRT would appreciate the courtesy and kindness movement to assist their elders, campaigns with or without.
Check out some of the old modes of transport in Blog to Express, along with the pictures of trishaws, rickshaws and non-aircon buses.

I am thinking about those days! how hard it was to travel in suffocation. But I still love rickshaws. These are very popular in my country.
