Fresh Brainz is penned by biologist Lim Leng Hiong and is easily the best biology blog in Singapore – as one of the authors of what he calls the “grand old dame” of Singapore biology blogs (The Biology Refugia), I can say this in all earnestness.
Recently, after visiting the National Museum for his first look since the renovation, he decided the visit was worth one of his PG-rated posts.

He begins with Titarubi’s failure to emasculate David’s allure, adds artefact-provoked reminisces, peppers this with environmental reflections and the circularity of the application of ideas. Or something to that effect. This is one of those posts that also links out to a dozen other places and might leave you hopelessly lost in the internet. Lastly, humour pervades this blog post about a museum vist. *Gasp*
Alright, enough said – go fetch. And while you’re at it, please explain the bicycles on the wall…
