Yup, the day when the grand old dame re-opens her doors is upon us.

Check out performances, exhibitions and screenings lined up in December to celebrate this joyous occasion at this site.

We’re personally quite excited about checking out the Singapore History Gallery and the Singapore Living Galleries at the museum. Word is the Singapore Living Galleries will offer free admission from 6pm – 9pm daily.

We’re sure it’ll top what Singapore History Museum had to offer back then.

For more information on the National Museum of Singapore, check out this site.

  1. Tan Wee Kiat Said,

There is a stamp set in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Museum, issued in October 1987 showing
    (Stamp 1) Majaphit gold bracelet
    (Stamp 2) Fluted Kendi pot
    (Stamp 3) Keris (knife)
Here’s the website for Singapore stamps: http://www.cs.com.sg. At this website, click on 1987 and you will see the stamps issued in 1987.
    Have fun!
