imd-logo-color3Thinking of getting your child away from the television programmes and computer games?

How about joining us for the Krafty Kids Workshop at Mint Museum of Toys (26 Seah Street, near Bugis)? Your child can choose to either learn how to make a 3D animal mask (as pictured)…

…use gloves to make finger puppet, or both!

This workshop is for children aged 6 to 12 years and costs $20 per participant for each session. If your child should choose to attend both sessions, you’ll only need to pay $38 (that’s a $2 discount!). This covers museum admission and a door gift. Your child will also be able to bring back his / her masterpieces. Think it’s a tad too pricey? Well, nothing is too expensive when it comes to developing the talent within your child. You can also join them in the workshop at 50% museum admission fees ($7.50).

The workshops will be held on both 23 and 24 May – the animal mask-making workshop will be held from 10am – 12pm while the finger puppet workshop will be held from 2pm – 4pm.

Give them a chance to get imaginative in their creation. Who knows? Your child may shock you with his / her boundless yet unidentified imagination and creativity.

This event is part of the International Museum Day 2009 (IMD’09) which happens from 23 to 31 May 2009. For more information and updates on IMD’09, please visit www.museums.com.sg/imd09 or call 6346 6438. (Daily: 9am – 7pm)
