The kick-off event for Explore Singapore! 2010 was jam-packed with fun-filled activities for everyone!
Festivities started way before the official kick off at 6pm, with an eclectic mix of stalls outside the museum welcoming everyone.

The free candy floss and ice cream stalls were very popular with visitors…

…but they were no match for the snaking queues for JC Sum & Magic Babe Ning‘s three shows.

The crowd was roused by the tunes delivered by the live bands…

…while others who wandered round the Perankan Museum were pleasantly ambushed and entertained by roving magicians…

…and got to take part in other fun activities, such as hand painting for kids and guided tours for families.

The highlight of the night was JC Sum & Magic Babe Ning‘s Illusions of the Mind show, specially crafted for the evening.

The effervescent duo entertained, engaged and enthralled the audience with their unique brand of magic, which was a potent mix of humour, audience participation and stylish showmanship. Their performance this evening was a great primer for their Mega Illusion, The Aerial Exit.

The Magic of the Night at Perankan Museum was an outstanding opener for Explore Singapore! 2010 and from the way things look, this magical museum tour is poised to get even better.

[...] The show is part of the National Heritage Board’s 2010 “Explore Singapore” campaign that J C & Ning are starring in. On 20 Nov 2010, they presented their all-new “Illusions of the Mind” interactive illusion show at the Peranakan Museum.
