Museums and the Art of City Making

Posted by shaun wong

A Brainstorming Session with Charles Landry
12th April 2006 Wednesday 5pm, Singapore Art Museum Auditorium, Free

“… what are the roles of museums and art spaces in today’s cities, especially in Singapore, in which museum development has been very significant in past decades. How can we think differently, creatively about museums? In a world of information and sensory overload, what kinds of human experiences can museums offer? What are some examples of museums that have made a critical and creative difference to the tone and spirit of a city? How can museums be part of a city’s cultural capital and its creative industries?”

Be engaged by this talk by Charles Landry at Singapore Art Museum Auditorium on 12th April 2006, Wednesday, 5pm. All are invited!
