Lost about what’s been going on with our and buttons?

Mystery solved…

Some of you might have noticed our and appearing and re-appearing, sometimes on certain posts, sometimes on all the posts. No, it wasn’t a technical glitch. Unfortunately, us Friends of yesterday.sg have been grappling with the issue of whose post can be eligible for the Best Post competition.

Because we really want to hear your stories and experiences on heritage and museums, we’ve decided that Friends (yes, those on the list on the left of the page) will not be eligible for the fabulous prizes in the Best Post competition. Yes, no chance of that sexy iMac, Sony handycam or digicam for us…*poo*

And that brings us to the and buttons. At first, we thought we’d have the buttons only for posts submitted by members. But then we started getting queries as to why some posts had the buttons and others didn’t. So, to (hopefully) clear things up, we’ve decided to leave the buttons in for every post that is published but those posted by those on the Friends list won’t be counted. And because we want to hear YOUR stories and experiences, referral posts (i.e. linking to someone else’s) will unfortunately also be excluded from our Best Post competition.
