You may have noticed the various government institutions changing the appearance of their webpages? Well, they have been adopting IDA guidelines, I am told.

The National Heritage Board (NHB) too recently completed their makeover. Their webpage has to cater to several national museums (do you now how many?), docents, the Museum Roundtable webpage and blog (this page!), In additional to all that, they publicise all the exhibitions and festivals organised by various NHB museums and departments. So I expected a messy page.

When I hopped over for a look, however, I was pleasantly surprised! It’s a nice clean interface and easy to navigate and find things. And all you need to do is key in “nhb.gov.sg” unlike some other sites that draw an error without the “www.” Of course I checked if there was a clear pointer to Yesterday.sg, and tested it out on my mac and the various browsers I use – I was satisfied; great stuff!
