The National Museum of Singapore (NMS) is pleased to present A Story of the Image: Old & New Masters From Antwerp which surveys historical and contemporary works of art to look at the evolution of the image and its commercialisation. On exhibition till 4 October 2009, make a trip down to NMS and indulge in this showcase of works from the prestigious Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Antwerp, Museum of Plantin-Moretus/Printroom and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Running in conjunction with this exclusive exhibition is an interactive tour for children aged 9 to 12. Appreciate art in a dramatic way as experienced tour facilitators bring your child through the impressive display of both historical and contemporary artworks by world renowned masters from Antwerp, Belgium. Using role-play, they will engage your child to interpret the images he sees and understands the techniques used in paintings, prints and video installations on show. A perfect way to expose and cultivate your child’s interest in the visual arts.

*Recommended for children aged 9 years old and above. Viewer discretion is advised.
