Are you game for the Flight of the Night Owl? Here’s a chance for you and four other friends to take part in a treasue hunt like no other! Go on a night adventure to seek out the hidden treasures of Parameswara amid the National Heritage Board Museums and stand to win cash prizes for the top three teams!

The flight of the night owl puts you in the shoes of Javanese soldiers of the Majapahit Empire who are conquering Singapura under the rule of Sultan Iskandar Shah. History tells us that Iskandar Shah eventually fled and settled in Malacca, but in Flight of the Night Owl the sultan has hidden treasures in his palace and has sent his ment back to retrieve them. Your team has gotten wind of the treasures too, can you beat the sultan’s men and get them before they do? Race through five museums (Asian Civilisations Museum, National Museum of Singapore, Peranakan Museum, Singapore Art Museum and Singapore Philatelic Museum) as well as the arts and civic district and pit your wits and skills! The hunt begins on the evening of 25 July 2008
This night race is open to night owls aged 16 and above. $10 for each participant, $5 for students and NSFs.

But even if you’re not into racing, these five NHB museums will be open til late for the Memories and Secrets Tour – free admission from 6 pm to 2 am, with guided tours every hour! The English and Mandarin tours are $2 per participant, but free for students, NSFs and senior citizens.
