Central Fire Station is celebrating its 100th anniversary!
Daddy decides to bring us to visit our valiant Firefighters since it’s open house at the Fire Station ever Saturday from 9 to 11am.
Lt Foo patiently explains to us the nuts and bolts of the Fire Station.
There is a long queue to mount the CPL’s (Combine Plaform Ladder) ladder.
Push the Rhino. Ambulance in action. Full of activities.
Little firemen in action. And there’s pole dancing too.
Battle action, ready to roll out.
Suddenly, the sky turns dark
Downpour, and the boys get wet !!
Rain or shine, the boys are not deterred..
The famous Red Doors on Hill street.
Daddy: Although we missed the high rise spectacle from the CPL (Combine Plaform Ladder). The rain brought out some of the kids’ best smiles. No complains : )
Daddy tells the boys that firefighters are very brave, and in other countries, they need to fight forest fires bigger than Singapore, or even save people from falling Towers (911 Manhattan).
Salute !!
